Overall, 85% of the subjects in this independent research experienced at least one of these compelling benefits from LiveInk: doubling comprehension, elimination of eyestrain, and/or immediate preference for LiveInk.

The current target of the publishing industry is a self-selected group for whom conventional text poses no particular bottleneck in visual or linguistic processing -- this minority of readers currently buys most of the books.

However, there is a much larger group, approximately 85% of the population, who currently do not buy that many books, but have the same intellectual and educational levels as those who do buy and read books.

This larger, 85% of the population will buy and read more books with LiveInk because it makes the text easier to read, easier to understand, and more enjoyable.
